Wyatt Dot Day - Wear Dots Today!

Description
DOT DAY SEPT. 18,2017
It's that time of year again....International Dot Day.  For those of you new to Wyatt, and to those that forgot, Dot Day is a special day based off Peter Reynold's book "The Dot."  In the book, a young girl is encouraged to  "make a mark and see where it takes her."  It's a day celebrated around the world that encourages creativity, collaboration, and community.

This year our students will be making their own mark in art class as we paint rocks and use them to create a beautiful, colorful rock garden for all to see outside the school.  This will leave a great legacy for years to come.  Make sure you're following the Wyatt Specials page on Facebook to see this project as it processes.

In honor of Dot Day, please wear any sort of DOTS...polka dots, clothes with circle patterns, etc on Monday, September 18th as we kick off our Dot Day activities in art class and the library.
