Dear Wyatt Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Whether you're a returning family or new to our community, we’re so glad you’re here. I’m honored to serve as this year’s PTA President. My goal is for every student and family to feel connected to our school community, and for our teachers and staff to feel supported by their PTA. Wyatt is a truly special school made up of amazing teachers and staff, hardworking students, beautiful diversity, and a superb learning environment.

The PTA plays a vital role in building a strong school community. We work closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support enrichment programs, organize events, and provide resources that benefit every child at Wyatt. Some of the things PTA does include school programs and assemblies, classroom and specials supplies, teacher appreciation, student and family socials, field trips, and much more.

I encourage you to get involved. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours, join a committee, or simply attend an event, your participation matters and makes a real difference. Check our volunteer page for opportunities or reach out so we can help you find the best fit. Event sign-ups will be posted throughout the year. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the school, build friendships with other parents, and observe your child with his or her peers. We are also looking to fill a few executive board positions still which is the BEST way to be involved in decisions that impact your student. No experience is needed.

I hope you will also join the PTA. Anyone can join: parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, even neighbors and community members. Your dues help us fund everything we do and there are no obligations to volunteer or join meetings (though we’d love if you did). This school year we are really making the effort to offer parents an educational program as part of our PTA general meetings. We hope you will join us to hear various speakers, join the conversation and hear what’s going on in our school.
