The Wyatt PTA Read-a-thon officially starts January 22nd. Activate your student's page today. Just for activating the page your child gets a prize and they will be ready to read, read, read for the next two weeks. (Activation is free, no donation is required). In addition your child will be entered into a drawing to:
PIE THE PRINCIPLE
Every student that activates their Read-a-thon page will be entered into a drawing and a lucky student will get to "Pie the Principle" at a future assembly. A total of 3 winners will be chosen with Mrs. Hentges, Mr. Minyard and a special Watt staff member all getting some delicious pie!
A student's name will be entered once when their page is activated but they can earn additional chances. With each $25 donated to their page the student will have another ticket entered into the drawing. The drawing will be held at the end of the Read-a-thon.

PROUD TO BE A HEALTHY ZONE SCHOOL
Wyatt has been promoted to a Healthy Zone School, making it one of only 161 North Texas schools to participate in this prestigious program. Through this program, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and The Cooper Institute select schools to be recognized for their excellence in health programs. School selection is based on the school’s physical activity programs, nutrition policies and health promotions. This year Wyatt will receive $1500 for use in purchasing PE equipment as well as health and nutrition related materials for students and staff. Thanks Wyatt community for supporting our efforts to be healthy.
