Annual Spring Fling and Roo Run ~ Wrap Up
Thank you Wyatt community for your support in making this event a huge success for our kids and our PTA! If you registered and were not able to make it to the event, your child's swag bag will be sent home this week. We want to say a special thanks to all of the wonderful teachers and staff who helped along the way as well as the parent volunteers who worked hard organizing the event: 'Roo Run Chair-Esther Rutnam, Socials Chair-Nikki LaPointe, Lianne Boone, Johanna Castaneda, Jennifer Bolton, Ilene Baumel, Sommer Ludwig, Melissa Jones, Irene Glover, Felicity Sumner, Rania Osburn, Mamta Goel, Sarita Venkatramen, Heather Coleman and everyone who worked a volunteer shift at the event, including our teen helpers! Since the Roo Run is a new Wyatt event, we know you have questions. See below for the answers!
WHAT IS THE ROO RUN?
The Roo Run is a fundraising event with an emphasis on fitness and healthy living. The kids will be running for approximately 30 minutes at 3:00PM. This event is a color run, for a rainbow-filled good time! The Roo Run is open to registered Wyatt students and we are inviting family members to run/walk with their registered students this year at no charge. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. The Roo Run will be immediately followed by the biggest party of the year - Spring Fling!
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH SPRING FLING?
The Roo Run will be taking place right before Spring Fling, so you'll be able to enjoy an entire afternoon and evening of fun with your family! Thank you for the many contributions of items and money toward our Spring Fling class raffle baskets.
